Summary: The DevOps Engineer role focuses on creating and implementing new HashiCorp Sentinel policies within a leading technology organization. The position requires collaboration with both the permanent team and internal customers to ensure effective use of Terraform workspaces. The engineer will also be responsible for producing documentation and showcasing policies to the wider Public Cloud Teams. This is a remote position for an initial 3-month contract, classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize the existing Testing Framework to validate Sentinel policies.
• Demonstrate new policies to the permanent team and internal customers.
• Engage the team for feedback on policy functionality.
• Produce customer and developer documentation.
• Showcase policies to the wider Public Cloud Teams.

Key Skills:

• High-level knowledge and experience of Terraform.
• Experience with HashiCorp Sentinel.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with GitLab.
• Financial services experience is desirable but not essential.
