Summary: Whitebridge is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support a Data and Analytics platform for a FTSE100 client. The role requires extensive experience in cloud resource deployment, particularly in Azure and AWS, along with strong skills in automation and CI/CD practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy Azure and AWS cloud resources, utilizing agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Use Terraform for infrastructure as code deployments.
- Implement CI/CD principles with tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Develop automation runbooks and maintenance scripts using scripting languages.
- Manage cloud access control and governance, including RBAC and IAM.
- Configure cloud networking components in Azure.
- Manage Microsoft Entra ID and related services.
- Work with IaaS, including Windows and Linux virtual machines.
- Ensure security best practices are followed in cloud environments.
- Configure cloud data services, preferably Databricks, in Azure and AWS.
- Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience with Azure and AWS cloud resources.
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and related tools.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Azure CLI.

Whitebridge is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our FTSE100 client to support a Data and Analytics platform.
Experience required
- Extensive experience of deploying Azure and ideally AWS cloud resources and be fully conversant with agile and DevOps development methodology.
- Extensive experience in using Terraform to deploy cloud resources as infrastructure as code.
- Excellent understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with related tools (eg Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Strong knowledge of Scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python and Azure CLI and proven experience with automation runbooks, VM maintenance scripts and SQL.
- Strong understanding of cloud access control and governance such as RBAC and IAM.
- Strong knowledge on Cloud Networking (Azure) such as private endpoints, Firewalls, NSGs, NAT gateways and route tables.
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Entra ID such as managing App registrations, Enterprise Apps, AD groups, managed identities and Privileged Identity Management.
- Proven experience in IaaS such as virtual machines - both Windows and Linux.
- Familiarity with server patching and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of security best practices within Azure and ideally AWS.
- Experience of configuring cloud data services (preferably Databricks) in Azure and ideally AWS.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple technical and non-technical teams.
