Summary: The DevOps Engineer role is a 12-month remote position focused on designing and deploying scalable infrastructure within a healthcare insurance context. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy scalable and resilient infrastructure using AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, Route 53).
- Use Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK for Infrastructure as Code.
- Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, Jenkins).
- Automate provisioning, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Deploy and manage containerized workloads (Docker, ECS, EKS).
- Apply security best practices with IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and KMS.
- Monitor systems with CloudWatch and Trusted Advisor; optimize for cost and performance.
- Ensure infrastructure aligns with HIPAA, CMS, and internal governance.
- Implement disaster recovery and conduct regular audits.

- Handle Tier 2/3 escalations, incident resolution, and system documentation.
