DevOps Cloud Engineer

Description

Robert Half is seeking a Dev Ops Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.

Responsibilities include but are not limited:

- Oversee CI/CD pipeline and associated deployment out of Gitlab and into Google Cloud Platform

- Oversee Google Cloud Platform environment with focus on services and resources along with familiarity of how those contribute to cloud data pipelines

- Use of Terraform for infrastructure-as-code

- Will be responsible for entirety of infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform, including deployment, upgrades, patching, proactive measure, security responses, and more

-Promote DevOps culture, providing technical leadership, strategy and collaboration across development and operations team.

The successful Dev Ops Cloud Engineer will have:

Proven experience overseeing and managing CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments, specifically Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

Knowledge of GitLab and Version control systems.

Knowledge of google suite of applications and tools.

Knowledge of Terraform or equivalent infrastructure-as-code tools preferred.

Familiarity with cloud data pipelines and general cloud architecture principles preferred

Solid technical expertise in proactive security measures and addressing vulnerabilities.

Exceptional collaboration and leadership skills, with the ability to drive strategy across teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a self-starting attitude.
