Summary: The Desktop Deployment Engineer role requires expertise in PowerShell scripting, AppLocker, and ideally SCCM for laptop deployments and patching tasks. This fully home-based position is for an initial 3-month contract with a leading organization, focusing on delivering desktop support and deployment services. The role also includes 2nd Line Support tasks and requires strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with laptop deployments and patching tasks.
- Deliver status reports and set up AppLocker within the estate.
- Provide 2nd Line Support to stakeholders as required.
- Implement processes and procedures for desktop support.
Key Skills:
- Excellent end user computing and desktop support experience.
- Excellent laptop deployment and patching experience.
- Strong experience using PowerShell.
- Strong experience using AppLocker.
- Ideally strong experience using SCCM.
- Strong 2nd Line Support experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management experience.
