Delivery Project Manager

Summary: The Delivery Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex technology and business projects, ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered on time and within budget. The role requires strong project management skills, stakeholder engagement, and delivery governance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving process improvements. This position is fully remote and offers a long-term contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects across multiple functional teams.
• Define project scope, goals, milestones, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives.
• Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams development, testing, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
• Establish and maintain governance processes, including status reporting, issue management, and escalation handling.
• Oversee project documentation including project plans, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and change requests.
• Conduct project review meetings, track progress, and ensure adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and partners.
• Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement and delivery optimization.
• Ensure all deliverables comply with quality standards, security guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Support post-implementation reviews and knowledge transfer.

Key Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in project or program management with strong delivery ownership.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end IT or digital transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies (SAFe Agile experience is a plus).
• Proficient with project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Smartsheet, or ServiceNow.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional global teams.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
• PMP / PRINCE2 / CSM / ITIL certification preferred.
