Sellick Partnership are pleased to be assisting a local authority in the South East to recruit a Debt Recovery Lawyer to join their friendly team for a duration of 18 months - 2 years.

About the Debt Recovery Lawyer role:

  • To start ASAP
  • For a duration of 18 months - 2 years
  • Remote working
  • £50-£55 per hour umbrella rate

Responsibilities of the Debt Recovery Lawyer include:

  • Managing a number of debt recovery cases, mostly in relation to adult social care and probate work
  • Managing the process from initial instructions through to recovery of sums owed
  • Ensuring that timely advice is provided to maximise the council's prospects of recovering sums owed
  • Ensuring deadlines are met
  • Handling a full and varied caseload with minimal supervision

Candidates can work on a fully remote basis.
