Summary: The role of Databricks Consultant focuses on supporting data engineering and site reliability engineering within a healthcare context. Key Responsibilities:

- Creation of Terraform scripts, health checks, secrets management, release processes, and GitHub peer reviewing.
- Site reliability engineering for Azure Databricks and Palantir Foundry platforms.
- DevOps work in creating analytics infrastructure to support Redlines and improving processes.
- Conducting audit data analysis, operating data restore, immutable backups, networking and access, PowerBI gateways, reserving VMs, Event Hub TU, serverless compute clusters, and Terraform management.
Key Skills:
- Experience with Databricks and Palantir Foundry.

We've partnered an award winning SME Data Consulting firm.with a unique opportunity. They have won a large contract, looking for an experienced Databricks Consultant Long term.
They only hire the based Data consultants, with a strong consulting background, high level communication skills are paramount!

This Role is split between Data Engineering, DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering on the App Reporting team, this includes maintaining and improving the Data bricks platform by automating manual tasks, ensuring the system is reliable and saleable, handling incidents and outages, implementing and developing the Terraform to automate infrastructure management.
A day to day would be, handling and managing any issues and alerts going on, maintaining artifacts such as secrets, clusters and releases related to Palantir Foundry and Databricks
The role includes:
- Providing Support for Data Engineer in creating pipelines, skills within Palantir Foundry, Azure Databricks
- This involves, creation of Terraforms, Health Checks, Secrets Managements, Release Processes, Github Peer Reviewing, Ownership of Software
- Site Reliability Engineering of the Azure Databricks and Palantir Foundry Platforms, ensuring the two data platforms run as intended
- DevOps work in creation of Analytics Infrastructure to support Redlines & improving Processes
