Role: SC Cleared Data Databricks Architect

Location: Remote (Occasional Site Travel)

Daily Rate: Up to £635 Per Day (Inside IR35)

Lumora Solutions is partnering with a global consultancy at the forefront of Data & AI. We are currently seeking an SC Cleared Databricks Architect to join a high-performing team on a 6-month contract, working remotely and inside IR35.

What you will be doing

• Review Databricks solution designs to ensure they meet architecture standards and best practices.
• Support the Technical Design Authority (TDA) by taking part in design reviews and documenting key decisions.
• Work with engineers and architects to design Databricks Lakehouse solutions, including data ingestion, medallion architecture, and Unity Catalog.
• Partner with security, governance, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are secure, compliant, and scalable.
• Help develop architecture standards, reusable patterns, and design documentation across the programme.

What you will bring

• Experience in Solution or Enterprise Architecture, with exposure to design governance or Technical Design Authority (TDA) processes.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Databricks, including Lakehouse, Delta Lake and Unity Catalog.
• Experience designing solutions on AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or similar.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to review designs and communicate technical decisions clearly.
• Active SC Clearance
