Database Administrator

Summary: The Database Administrator role involves leading database management efforts, particularly in data modeling and Microsoft SQL Server environments. The position requires expertise in SQL Server Analysis Services and Reporting Services, along with a strong background in various database technologies. The role is remote and is expected to be filled by a candidate with significant experience in database operations and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leads the effort in database management through data modeling.
• Expert in setting up Microsoft SQL Server database in virtual and clustered environments, along with experience in SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Technologies: SQL Server 2014/2016/2019, SSIS packages, DB2, OLAP and OLTP Data modeling with the ERWIN data modeling tool.
• Serve as key member of the database team managing all operations consistent with database management.
• Ability to perform and troubleshoot SQL Server Backups, Restore Strategies, Replication, SQL Server Performance Tuning and Query Optimization.
• Years of Experience required: 8 years.

• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, SSAS, and SSRS.
• Experience with SQL Server 2014/2016/2019, SSIS, DB2, OLAP, and OLTP Data modeling.
