Summary: The Data Warehousing Consultant is responsible for coordinating the technical functions of data administration for both the development and maintenance of data warehouses. This role involves facilitating communication among various stakeholders, establishing processes for data management, and providing product support. The consultant will also engage in data warehouse design, construction, and testing. The position is fully remote and requires relevant certifications and experience in data warehousing technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate data administration technical functions for data warehouse development and maintenance.
- Facilitate change control, problem management, and communication among data architects, programmers, analysts, and engineers.
- Establish and enforce processes for a consistent and well-integrated data warehouse infrastructure.
- Provide product support and maintenance of the data warehouse.
- Perform data warehouse design and construction.
- Prepare and implement data verification and testing methods for the data warehouse.
Key Skills:
- Five years of relevant experience and certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
- Ability to obtain Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance and Tier 3 Investigation (T3).
- IAT Level II or equivalent certification(s) in Microsoft Certified Solutions.
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate for SQL Database Development.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate.
- IC Agile Certification.
- Working knowledge of the Agile framework and implementation.
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) ETL jobs.
- Experience with SQL Stored Procedures.

Minimum Requirements:
- Five (5) years relevant experience Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority
- Possesses or able to obtain (Formerly IT-II) Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance and Tier 3 Investigation (T3)
Required Certifications:
- IAT Level II or 8140.03 equivalent certification(s) Microsoft Certified Solutions
- Associate SQL Server Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate for SQL Database Development
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator
- Associate is acceptable as a more recent substitute and covers both SQL certifications
- IC Agile Certification
Necessary Delivery Skills/Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of the Agile framework and implementation Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) ETL jobs
- Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining SQL Stored Procedures
Nice to haves:
- Knowledge of applying Risk Management Framework (RMF) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to applications and servers such as Microsoft SQL Server and IIS. (this is going to be a longshot for anyone IMO so i put it in nice to haves)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies including Jenkins, GitHub and Jira
- Experience managing SQL service and user accounts for SQL authentication and Windows authentication Experience working with Microsoft IIS Experience interfacing with APIs such as Express.js Experience interfacing with MongoDB.
