Summary: A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy is seeking a DW Developer / Data Warehouse Consultant to address performance and stability issues in enterprise data pipelines within an NHS Trust environment. This hands-on role emphasizes SQL performance tuning, DBA-level troubleshooting, and stakeholder engagement. The position is remote and offered as a 3-month contract inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and remediate performance and reliability issues within data warehouse pipelines
  • Perform SQL and database-level performance tuning and optimisation
  • Support and advise on data warehouse architecture and data structures
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Support NHS national submissions and ensure alignment with NHS data dictionaries and standards

Key Skills:

  • Strong Data Warehouse development experience
  • Advanced SQL (writing and optimising complex queries)
  • DBA-level knowledge, particularly performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Solid understanding of data architecture and data structures
