Summary: The role of Data Warehouse Developer involves working with MS SQL and PowerBI to build and enhance data warehouse solutions for a large organization. The position is remote and requires collaboration with stakeholders to design dashboards and implement security measures. The contract is for an initial duration of six months, starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be expected to engage with stakeholders and contribute to the development life cycle using modern tools and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data warehouse build (Star Schema/Kimball) from existing transactional booking systems
- Dashboard design and analysis with stakeholders
- Assist in implementing security and governance for power users of PowerBI
- Work within a small team to accelerate our use and adoption of PowerBI
- PowerBI UI Design
- Data warehouse design and development in MS SQL Server
- Stakeholder engagement and requirements capture
- Development life cycle using DevOps, Git, database projects etc
- Financial modelling and dashboard design for Executive and Operational levels
- Knowledge of Azure cloud services for data warehouse and ETL could be advantageous
Key Skills:
- Experience with MS SQL Server
- Proficiency in PowerBI
- Data warehouse design and development skills
