Minimum Requirements:

4 Required Experience in Data warehouse aggregation and integration of data across multiple applications
4 Required Experiencing in assessing existing databases and multiple information sources for the purpose of integrating existing data while improving data access, storage, data transparency and operational functions.
4 Required Working knowledge of data warehouse end-to-end implementation processes, from business requirement logical modeling, physical database design, ETL, end-user tools, database, SQL, and performance tuning.
4 Required Enterprise Portal Application working knowledge
4 Required Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing used when leading development activities, presenting to leadership, and training less experienced developers.
3 Required Experience with user journey mapping, story boarding, creating mockups and wireframes, application usability design, fast prototyping, and proof-of-concept development.

The Database Administrator position requires knowledge of Azure, MDM Expertise, Azure Databricks, DevOps, Database Management, and development and automation. The position requires an ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to complete requests successfully against established timelines with limited supervision. This position also requires the ability to learn and apply new technology, work independently or in a team environment, and collaborate with all levels of staff within DFPS to satisfy business needs.
The Worker is responsible for performing computer systems analysis or development work. Work involves coordinating, planning and analysis of user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing systems. This role may also be responsible for the following:
We would like the Database Administrator to have the following skillsets and understanding:
1. Azure Expertise:
Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure services, particularly Azure SQL Database and other database offerings.
Experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines and automation.
Familiarity with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure CLI, and PowerShell scripting.
2. Azure Data bricks expertise
Deep understanding of Azure data bricks and warehouse concepts
3. MDM Expertise:
Deep understanding of Informatica MDM and working with data profiling
4. Devops Expertise:
Experience implementing DevOps practices, such as Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration with development teams to integrate database changes seamlessly.
Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Deployment exposure in SalesForce and MuleSoft environment.
5. Database Management:
Proficient in database administration, maintenance, tuning, and optimization for Oracle, Postgre SQL, Sybase and other databases.
Knowledge of database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
Experience in database security, including data encryption, authentication, and authorization.
6. Development and Automation:
Proficiency in Oracle and Postgresql and ability to write complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
Hands-on experience with automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
Ability to create, manage, and monitor database deployment and migration strategies.
Monitoring and Performance Tuning:
Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance analysis to optimize database performance.
