Summary: Role is for an experienced Data Warehouse Developer to develop, support and evolve a critical on-premise 'common data environment' (CDE) within a wider integrated solution. The position involves designing, building, testing, and supporting the CDE, ensuring efficient data structuring from multiple sources, and enabling report creation for various organizational needs. The role requires deep technical knowledge of SQL, ETL, and the Microsoft stack, along with collaborative working relationships with technical peers and stakeholders. It offers opportunities to lead on the data/reporting layer and transition to cloud solutions in the medium term.
Key Responsibilities:
- Specifying high-level/low level data models, ETL plans and data warehouse designs
- Building and unit testing data warehouses as part of wider integrated solution
- Developing suite of paginated reports and dashboards to deliver multi-organisational management information requirements
- Assisting project management activities in planning, effort estimating and progress reporting
- Supporting and developing build solution as part of BAU service management
- Agreeing MI Operating Model that ensures future MI requirements for stakeholders are captured, assessed, developed and delivered in a structured, auditable and repeatable manner
- Advising on and contributing toward development of strategic Technical Product set, especially the data & reporting layer strategy
- Supporting associated technical transformation/mobilisation projects through all phases from definition through development to close
Key Skills:
- Experience developing, deploying and supporting multi-data source SQL data warehouses in an on-premise environment
- Experience of the full Microsoft Stack - SSIS, SSRS and SSAS
- Experience creating, documenting and developing data models to deliver management information outcomes
- Experience developing ETL procedures from multiple data sources to one data source
- Experienced in developing Data Lakehouse's in Microsoft Fabric
- Adept at building collaborative technical and business working relationships to deliver outputs and outcomes
- Experienced in authoring technical documentation, able to write clear and maintainable artefacts to support developments
- Has demonstrated developerership: able to understand technical trends and convert into tactical and strategic advantages; able to explain and demystify technology to non-technical audiences

Summary: Role is for an experienced Data Warehouse Developer to develop, support and evolve a critical on-premise 'common data environment' (CDE) within a wider integrated solution.
Role will involve designing, building, testing, supporting and evolving the CDE, ensuring it receives data from multiple system and Client System sources, structures the data correctly and efficiently, enables creation/publication of paginated reports into the Cloud and Power BI dashboards via a Gateway link into MS Azure instance that will serve various organisation's information needs, including a team dedicated to providing analytics and insight on client estate.
Role will involve deep technical knowledge of SQL, ETL and Microsoft stack, and demand establishment of collaborative working relationships with technical peer groups, BI/MI Lead(s) and the supporting team of analysts, and occasionally client/supplier users. Role will offer an opportunity to support the Product Owner and directly lead on the data/reporting layer of the overall technical Product, including options to go full-cloud and migrate from on-premise solutions to a SaaS solution in the medium term.

Based in Leatherhead but able to work from home and travel to client sites where necessary.
