Summary: World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking a Senior Data Classification Engineer to support the enterprise migration of unstructured data governance into Varonis SaaS. This contract role focuses on scalable data classification and Exact Data Match (EDM) capabilities across various storage platforms. The position is remote and part of WWT’s Strategic Resourcing services, with employment through a preferred partner. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and may need to undergo background checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Onboard, configure, and operationalize Varonis SaaS DCE for large-scale unstructured data scanning.
- Develop, implement, and maintain classification policies using regex, structured identifiers, and EDM-style exact-match techniques.
- Conduct classification policy QA, validation, and production rollout support.
- Support migration away from legacy governance tooling.
