Data Scientist (W2)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Data Scientist with strong expertise in statistical modeling, advanced analytics, and data-driven problem-solving.

The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and apply advanced statistical models to solve complex business problems.
• Perform exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis.
• Identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights from complex datasets.
• Design, validate, and optimize analytical models to improve business decision-making.
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly to business leaders and stakeholders.
• Present analytical results, methodologies, and business recommendations to diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and effectiveness of statistical models and analytical outputs.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience in data science, statistical modeling, and advanced analytics.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods, predictive modeling, and quantitative analysis.
• Proven ability to solve complex analytical problems and explain technical concepts clearly.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong executive presence, professionalism, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to New York or Florida.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Master s degree in a relevant discipline, with substantial hands-on data science experience.
• Experience presenting complex analytical findings to senior leadership.
• Background in aviation, transportation, logistics, or other data-intensive industries is a plus.
