Data Scientist / Senior Data Analyst (Product Analytics)

Job Description

We are seeking a Data Scientist / Senior Data Analyst with strong product analytics experience to analyze complex datasets, generate actionable insights, and support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL, Python or R, experimentation, and eCommerce analytics while partnering closely with product and machine learning teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
• Develop data-driven insights to support product strategy and business decisions.
• Design, execute, and evaluate A/B tests and statistical experiments.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Machine Learning teams to improve products and user experience.
• Build dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools.
• Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure data accuracy and support continuous improvement of analytics processes.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or in a related analytics role.
• Strong experience analyzing large and complex datasets.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R.
• Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, and statistical analysis.
• Experience working in an eCommerce environment.
• Experience collaborating with Machine Learning teams.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present insights to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with product analytics and customer behavior analysis.
• Familiarity with predictive analytics and experimentation frameworks.
