We are seeking a contract Data Scientist to analyse behavioural data and support our AI research team. The role involves exploring multimodal datasets, extracting insights, and contributing to model improvements and data strategy decisions.
Key skills and requirements,
- A solid background in statistical analysis and applied research methods, enabling progression from ambiguous questions to thorough and reproducible analyses.
- Direct experience working with time series and sensor data—especially from mobile devices or wearables—including strategies for managing irregular sampling, noise, and missing data.
- Advanced skills in Python for data analysis, utilizing tools such as pandas, NumPy, SciPy, and a range of visualization libraries (matplotlib, seaborn, etc.).
- Expertise in designing and executing controlled data experiments, including A/B tests and cohort analyses focused on behavioural or physiological datasets.
- Exceptional ability to communicate findings effectively to both technical and general audiences, through clear written reports, visualizations, and presentations.
- Proven track record in conducting exploratory data analysis (EDA) on large-scale datasets—moving beyond traditional dashboards to genuine, investigative data science.
