Summary: The role of Data Scientist involves working on a major public sector programme to deliver innovative data capabilities in a secure environment. The position requires hands-on experience in building and testing machine learning and analytics proof of concepts, as well as presenting insights from complex datasets to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

Key Skills:
- Strong data science background with hands-on ML and AI experience
- Strong Python skills, including PySpark and PyTorch

- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- Experience working in agile, delivery-focused environments
- Tableau and operational datasets experience beneficial

We're recruiting for an SC-cleared Data Scientist to join a major public sector programme delivering innovative data capability in a secure environment. This is a hands-on role focused on building and testing machine learning and analytics proof of concepts, surfacing insight from complex datasets, and presenting outputs clearly to stakeholders.
You'll join a fast-paced innovation team working in short sprint cycles across anomaly detection, data quality, statistical modelling and LLM-based summarisation.
