Summary: The Senior Data Scientist role focuses on leveraging extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and cloud technologies, particularly AWS, to drive data-driven business solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead Advanced Analytics projects end-to-end.
  • Utilize data science modeling, forecasting, and analytics to provide data-driven solutions.
  • Mentor junior data scientists and colleagues.
  • Communicate findings effectively to internal and external clients.
  • Work independently with business users and cross-functional leaders.
  • Analyze ambiguous data sets to derive meaningful insights.
  • Utilize AWS and other cloud environments for data science applications.
  • Create and deliver presentations to multiple audiences.
  • Utilize data analytic software such as R, Python, and SQL.
  • Implement Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and manage data architecture.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor s degree in finance, Engineering, Analytics, or Information Management is required. Masters/Phd in Mathematics or Statistics preferred.
  • 8+ years equivalent experience in data science modelling, forecasting, data analytics
  • 3+ years in machine learning, ML operations engineering.

  • Open-source AI experience preferred and should be strong on Quicksight and AWS.
