Data Test Engineer / Data QA / Data Pipeline Testing ETL/ELT £500 - £550 a day Outside IR35 Remote Start ASAP 6 months + SR2 is recruiting for a Data Test Engineer to join a highly technical project focused on testing complex, high-volume data pipelines.
We are looking for someone with strong hands-on ETL/ELT and data pipeline testing experience, who is comfortable getting into the data and personally building and executing validation.
Requirements
- High-volume, production-scale data pipeline testing
- Strong ETL/ELT testing and source-to-target reconciliation
- Kafka and streaming data
- Apache Spark
- SQL and/or Python for data validation
- Building mocks / test doubles for integrations and pipeline testing
- Exposure to Kubernetes / containerised environments
- Strong API testing experience, including hands-on tools such as Postman to validate APIs, integrations, requests/responses and data flows
- Strong test documentation and evidence
We're looking for a genuinely hands-on tester who can demonstrate what they've personally built, tested and validated within complex data environments.
