Summary: The Data Platform & Resilience Engineer role involves delivering resilient data infrastructure and platform architecture primarily using AWS technologies. The position requires hands-on expertise in data architecture, CI/CD processes, and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools. Experience in the gambling and casino domain is highly advantageous. This is a fully remote position offering a competitive daily rate.

Our client, a Leading Technology Organisation seeks a dynamic and technically astute hands on Data Platform & Resilience Engineer with solid expertise in AWS, Resilience & Data Architecture/Platform Architecture. Any experience in IAAC (Infrastructure as a Code), Terraform, Pulumi & Data Warehousing will be a distinctive advantage. Again, ANY work experience as a Data Expert in the Gambling & Casino domain is highly advantageous.
STRONG communication and interpersonal skills is a must for the ideal Data Platform & Resilience Engineer.
Duties & Responsibilities:
This role covers two distinct but complementary areas of platform delivery: establishing resilience foundations ahead of main delivery and implementing platform data infrastructure baselines throughout the engagement. Both workstreams require specialist experience not covered by the internal team's CI/CD-focused engineering capacity.
Again, to be successful in the role, you must have MOST of the following skills/attributes:
SOLID Data Platform & Resilience Engineering experience
Data Architecture/Platform Architecture
Be well versed in working with continuous stream of data
SOLID AWS expertise
Strong CI/CD experience
Any experience in IAAC (Infrastructure as a Code), Terraform, Pulumi & Data Warehousing will be a distinctive advantage. Again, ANY work experience as a Data Expert in the Gambling & Casino domain is highly advantageous.
