Summary: The role of Data Modeller/Data Architect involves designing databases and creating data models for a global leading business. The position is fully remote and requires expertise in physical data modeling and source to target mapping. The successful candidate will collaborate with business and systems SMEs to ensure data quality and optimize data processes. Strong communication skills and experience in a consumer-facing sector, particularly retail, are highly desired.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create source to target mapping
• Physical Data Modelling (physical rather than conceptual as the target architecture is already well defined)
• Documentation (eg documenting the agreed way the data will be formatted)
• Work closely with the business and systems SME's to understand what they want to achieve from the data
• Suggest Data Quality rules
• Contribute to the optimisation of data storage, retrieval, and processing.

Key Skills:

• Data Architect with extensive Data Modelling experience
• Proven Data Warehouse/Kimball experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ideally you would have worked in a Consumer facing sector, any Retail experience is highly desired
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of database management systems.

Salary (Rate): £700 Daily
