Position Details

Job Title: Data Governance Analyst (Data Deletion)

Location: Remote

Duration: 6++ months with high possibility of extensions

Schedule: Monday Friday, 40 hours/week

Contractor Experience Level: 1 (5+ years)

Must have strong communication, data analysis, and project management skills to:

• Support the execution of Enterprise Data Governance Services plans for secure and permanent data deletion.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, implement, and align data deletion controls and processes with established frameworks.
• Develop and execute test plans to confirm controls are fully implemented to reduce risks and address emerging organizational needs.
• Conduct dataset discovery and inventory across Data Lake zones and maintain metadata.

Technical Skills

Databricks, ADLS, Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Advanced SQL, Python and PySpark
