Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of data-related projects (data pipelines, data platform migrations, analytics dashboards, etc.).
  • Act as bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into actionable project or product roadmaps.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and product managers to define scope, requirements, and success metrics.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, RACI matrices, and risk mitigation strategies; track progress and report status regularly.
  • Understand data architecture concepts (ETL/ELT, data lakes, medallion architecture, data governance, cloud data warehouses like Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift/Databricks).
  • Run sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups; ensure blockers are resolved quickly.
  • Enforce data quality standards, documentation practices, and governance practices.
  • Align technical teams and business stakeholders across engineering, analytics, finance, marketing, and product functions.

Key Skills:

  • 5 10+ years of project/program management or product ownership, with 3+ years specifically in data or analytics projects.
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks) and ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, etc.).
  • Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum and hybrid project/product management methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or equivalent tools.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
