Summary: The Data Engineering Consultant role involves working with a leading financial services client to deliver complex data products. The consultant will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of data engineering tasks, collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and utilizing various technologies for data transformation and analysis. This position is remote with occasional site visits and is offered on a 3-month initial contract basis. The role is classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of end-to-end of complex data products
- Work cross-functionally with non-technical stakeholders to understand data requirements
- Expert knowledge of SQL to query, analysis and model data
- Experience with Snowflake
- Using DBT for data transforms and modelling
- Data ingestion using Python
- Build foundations for business functions to be able to access the correct data and insights
- Experience working in large development teams
