Summary: The role of Data Engineer involves working with a FTSE 100 client to design and deliver data models, integrations, and orchestration pipelines. The position requires hands-on experience with Terraform and AWS, focusing on building data pipelines and ensuring data quality. This is a 6-month remote contract offering a competitive daily rate. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and relevant technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver data models, integrations, and orchestration pipelines.
- Contribute to platform/infrastructure development.
- Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code (IAC).
- Build data pipelines and transformation layers.
- Implement data quality rules and validation frameworks.
Key Skills:
- MUST have experience using Terraform to build and manage IAC.
- Proven experience with AWS (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue).
- Background in building data pipelines, integrations, and transformation layers.
- Strong hands-on SQL experience.
- Data modelling expertise.
- Experience with data quality rules and validation frameworks.
- Snowflake experience is highly desirable.

The role will be involved in designing and delivering data models, integrations, orchestration pipelines, rule engines and contributing to the platform/infrastructure - MUST have Terraform experience.
