Remote Data Engineer & Insights Analyst - long-term contract.
Rates: $95/hr C2C or 1099; $88.27/hr W-2.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines on AWS using S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Athena, Kinesis and Lambda.
- Orchestrate workflows with Apache Airflow and/or AWS Step Functions.
- Write advanced, performance-tuned SQL and model data for analytics.
- Build dashboards and insights for business stakeholders.
- Work with big data technologies (Spark/Hadoop) and ensure data quality, security and documentation.
Required
- 7+ years data engineering/analytics experience;
- strong hands-on AWS data stack (Glue, Redshift, EMR, Athena, Lambda);
- expert SQL and Python;
- Airflow or Step Functions;
- dashboarding/BI (Tableau, Power BI or similar);
- strong communication.
