Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact with government stakeholders and teaming partners to gather requirements and propose analytic solutions.
  • Compile structured and unstructured data using the Microsoft Azure platform, ensuring its quality, accuracy, and reasonableness.
  • Work with IBM business analysts to understand requirements.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, grooming, Sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
  • Take ownership of activities and work independently.

Key Skills:

  • Experience ingesting large datasets for accurate reporting.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Microsoft Azure technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python and SQL, and knowledge of data manipulation tools.

As a Data Engineer at IBM, you will interact with government stakeholders and teaming partners to gather requirements and propose analytic solutions. You will work with IBM business analysts and government stakeholders to understand requirements and compile structured and unstructured data using the Microsoft Azure platform, ensuring its quality, accuracy, and reasonableness. You have a passion for detail and are an excellent communicator. You are agile and curious and not afraid to identify what we are doing wrong so we can fix it, and what we are doing right so we can improve on it.
