Key Responsibilities:
- Refactor and optimize 100+ complex T-SQL stored procedures to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability
- Optimize high-throughput workloads running on Microsoft SQL Server using advanced T-SQL query tuning and indexing strategies
- Build repository layers and support ORM implementations such as EF Core and Dapper
- Translate legacy temporary table and batch-processing logic into in-memory or cached alternatives
- Prepare legacy data access logic for migration to Aurora PostgreSQL
- Collaborate closely with backend development teams to define efficient, reusable data access patterns
- Monitor, benchmark, and tune critical database queries to meet performance SLAs
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with T-SQL and SQL Server, including advanced query tuning and indexing strategies
- Proven expertise analyzing and optimizing complex T-SQL stored procedures and execution plans
