Key Responsibilities:
- Build, optimize, and support existing and new data products.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and Terraform.
- Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools such as Dataflow and BigQuery.
- Utilize Data Build Tool (DBT) for data management.
- Handle various data formats including Avro and Parquet.
- Write and optimize data queries using SQL or similar languages.
- Engage in data-centric programming using Python, Java, or Scala.
- Apply different data modeling techniques and understand trade-offs.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Work with data visualization tools.
Key Skills:
- 4+ years of work experience as a Data Engineer on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proficiency in GCP tools such as Dataflow and BigQuery.
- Experience with Data Build Tool (DBT).
- Familiarity with data formats like Avro and Parquet.
- Knowledge of data query languages (SQL or similar).
- Programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
- Understanding of data modeling techniques and trade-offs.
- Knowledge of NoSQL and RDBMS databases.

Qualifications
- At least 4+ year's work experience including hands-on as Data engineer on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience in GCP tools - Dataflow and Bigquery
- Experience in Data Build Tool (DBT)
- Experience in different data formats (Avro, Parquet)
- Experience in data query languages (SQL or similar)
- Experience in data centric programming using one of more programming languages Python, Java/or Scala.
- Good understanding of different data modelling techniques and trade-offKnowledge of NoSQL and RDBMS databases
- Have a collaborative and co-creative mindset with excellent communication skills
- Experience in working with data visualisation tools
- Fluent in English both written and verbal
