Our client is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support financial operations and data-driven decision-making for a long-term contract.

In this role, you will collaborate closely to support cash flow processes, including payments, cash reconciliations against bank statements, and safeguarding of assets. You will gather financial data from diverse sources, including platform data, external financial institutions, market data, and internal financial systems.

This position focuses on developing robust data pipelines, models, and analytics to optimize cash flow processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting. You'll collaborate across Accounting, Treasury, and Engineering teams to transform raw financial data into actionable insights that drive efficiency and growth.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or data pipeline development

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (or similar scripting language)

  • Experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and data architecture best practices
