Summary: Our client is looking for a skilled Data Consultant with a strong background in Data Architecture and Data Engineering. The role involves assessing the current data landscape, designing solutions, and enhancing automation and reporting capabilities. This hands-on position requires expertise in building and optimizing data ecosystems. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to align data initiatives with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess existing data platforms, pipelines, and reporting processes to define As-Is and To-Be architectures.
- Design and implement scalable data frameworks and roadmaps supporting analytics and automation.
- Build and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and integrations using SQL, Informatica, and related tools.
- Drive automation and process optimization to improve data reliability and performance.
- Enable and enhance self-service analytics and visualization with Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align data initiatives with business goals.
- Improve data flow ("openflows") and ensure transparency across systems.
Key Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in Data Architecture and Data Engineering roles.
- Strong skills in SQL, Informatica, and modern ETL / data integration tools.
- Proven ability to define and implement data roadmaps and modernize legacy environments.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Tableau for dashboards and reporting.
- Demonstrated success in driving automation and data lifecycle optimization.
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience in metadata management, data governance, or data quality frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, or DataOps practices for pipeline automation.
