Data Center Project Manager

Job Description

Data Center Project Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Hardware Deployment Projects for Dell external customers.

Will lead the technical resources to deploy hardware.

Will provide ongoing communications to the customer, project team, and Dell sales team.

Will track project status against plans, forecast and earn associated revenue.

Will notify management of issues and risks that could potentially impact project delivery.

Will collaborate with a team of Project Managers as needed for questions and guidance on issues and procedures.

Must Have Skills / Experience

• Bachelors' Degree preferred
• Minimum 5+ years of IT Project Management experience supporting infrastructure deployment projects.
• Recent hands-on project management experience involving:
• Data Center Deployments
• Enterprise Networking
• High-Performance Computing (HPC)
• Server and Storage Infrastructure
• Experience managing customer-facing projects and interacting directly with executive and technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and controls.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with limited supervision and able to achieve project objectives
• Results-oriented mindset with strong attention to quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively (50%-100%) across the United States and Canada
• PM must have Networking and/or HPC experience
