Summary: The role of Data Business Analyst involves working on a fast-paced data delivery programme for a well-known retail business on an initial 3-month contract. The position requires collaboration with data engineers, modellers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions. The role is fully remote and classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define data requirements and produce source-to-target mappings.
- Analyse data using SQL and support the delivery of high-quality data solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineers, modellers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
- Support user story creation and UAT.
- Work within an Agile environment.
Key Skills:
- Strong Data Business Analysis experience.
- Source-to-target data mapping.
- Advanced SQL for data analysis and validation (expert level, scripting & querying).
- Understanding of data models (ERDs), APIs, and data flows.
- Agile/Scrum experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

We're looking for an experienced Data Business Analyst to join a fast-paced data delivery programme on an initial 3-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.
You'll work closely with data engineers, modellers, QA teams and business stakeholders to define data requirements, produce source-to-target mappings, analyse data using SQL, and support the delivery of high-quality data solutions within an Agile environment.
We are working with a well-known retail business.
