Summary: The Data Business Analyst will join a leading B2B media organization’s Data & Technology team, focusing on data platform, analytics, and integration initiatives. This role serves as a liaison between commercial, marketing, and technology teams, translating business needs into actionable requirements for data engineers and BI developers in an Agile environment. The position is remote and is offered on a 6-month contract basis. It is classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business and data requirements across commercial, marketing, and operational teams
- Translate requirements into user stories, data mappings, and functional specifications
- Work closely with data engineering and BI teams to support analytics and reporting solutions
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions
- Support Agile delivery, backlog refinement, and sprint planning
- Assist with UAT and validation of data and reporting solutions
Key Skills:
- Business Analyst experience on data, analytics, or data platform projects
- Understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and data modelling concepts
- Experience producing data flows, mappings, and requirements documentation
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
