Summary: This role is for a Data Architect & IT Infrastructure Specialist focused on transforming data processes using SAS and Power Query in a fully remote capacity, specifically for candidates located in California or willing to relocate. The position requires extensive experience in IT, data management, and project leadership, with a strong emphasis on re-engineering existing data logic and integrating new systems. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a flexible IT team while adhering to corporate standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Map identified source data to new cloud structures.
  • Re-engineer 20,000 lines of existing SAS transformation logic into Power Query Online (M language).
  • Replace legacy driver and month-end processing SAS code.
  • Integrate data from the new Enablon system when available.
  • Work as a key member of a flexible team of IT specialists.
  • Keep up to date with and adhere to all corporate IT standards, security controls, policies, and best practices.
  • Support and maintain network and server infrastructure based on LAN, Web, VPN, blade, SAN, and Virtualization technologies.
  • Provide excellent communication to all customers and colleagues.
  • Support Microsoft systems servers running back-office applications.
  • Deliver technical training and mentoring when needed.
  • Contribute high-quality documentation to the IT knowledge base.
  • Support and maintain business-critical applications.
  • Ensure that all support incidents, service requests, problems, and projects are accurately documented according to current procedures.

This position is 100% remote, IN CALIFORNIA ONLY

If not in CA, must be willing to relocate to CA upon offer.

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related specialized field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Specialized certification may be required.

  • Typically possesses twelve or more years of experience in the field, performing complex and conceptual analysis, consulting, project management, and providing recommendations.

  • Master's Degree preferred.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload:

  • Map identified source data to new cloud structures.
