I’m supporting a major transformation programme and looking for an experienced Data Architect to join at the discovery stage of a large-scale data modernisation. This is a hands-on architecture role focused on shaping the target platform, migration approach, and integration strategy across a complex, multi-system estate.
What you’ll be doing
- Defining end-to-end data architecture across a large transformation.
- Supporting discovery activities across platform, migration, and integration.
- Shaping modern data lake and analytics environments.
- Guiding teams on ETL/ELT standards and best practice.
- Working closely with other architects and programme leads.

- Azure data platform
- Azure Data Factory
- Databricks
- Snowflake
- Kafka (batch and streaming)
- Bronze / Silver / Gold data lake patterns
- CI/CD-driven pipelines
