Job Description: We are seeking an experienced data architect or data consultant with expertise in data and integration to provide consulting services to a healthcare client undergoing a large-scale migration from Cerner to EPIC. This role will involve working closely with the client to design and recommend optimized data architecture and integration solutions that facilitate a smooth transition to the EPIC system.

Responsibilities:

Review the current state (data and information architecture, data challenges etc.) and recommend an optimized data architecture that will support efficient data movement and integrity throughout the migration process.
Consult on multi-cloud data architecture to ensure seamless integration of EPIC on Azure with existing systems in AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Snowflake, focusing on cross-platform querying and reporting.
Offer strategic insights into best practices for integrating EPIC with existing systems, data sources and reporting tools such as Snowflake & Tableau etc.
Recommend strategic approaches for managing historical data outside of EPIC, ensuring its availability and integrity for advanced analytics, AI, and research initiatives.
Provide guiding principles, pre-requisites and best practices for data access, management, and utilization to ensure data quality, security, and a simplified user experience across data ecosystems.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Clinical, Data, AI, IT, and Business teams) to gather insights and data, translating these into architectural decisions and strategic recommendations, which will be presented to the executive leadership team

Technology Expertise:
