My client within the Publishing Industry is seeking an experienced data analyst with a particular emphasis on Tableau and strong data visualization prowess.

Company Introduction

The Data Analyst role is within the Analytics and Insights team in the Technology Infrastructure and Operations function at our client.

The Data Analyst will develop analytical reports and dashboards using Tableau regarding our client's software estate and IT assets as well as the operational performance of our client's cloud infrastructure.

Engaging with stakeholders across Technology, the Data Analyst will gather requirements, analyze operational data and develop compelling data visualizations, dashboards and reports on how we best manage software assets, AWS resources, and other areas of operational performance.

Requirements:

• Tableau expertise is a must have, alongside strong data visualization and design skills.
• Additionally, Power BI experience is also preferable.
• Experience working with large and complex data sets, data profiling and cleansing.
• Experience or knowledge of IT asset management preferred.
• Proficiency with SQL, Snowflake and DBT.
• Familiarity with AWS or other equivalent cloud technologies, in particular Lambda, S3, Athena.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and design reports and dashboards in Tableau ensuring optimal user experience.
• Update existing dashboards as part of migration to new data warehouse.
• Work closely with stakeholders, gathering requirements and translating them into requirements specs and user stories.
• Analyse and profile large operational and technology datasets with a focus on data integrity and accuracy.
• Data cleansing, preparation and modelling using DBT or AWS Athena.
