Key Responsibilities:
- Define requirements and design data transformation from legacy systems into SAP.

- Support data loads and validate data through testing and production cycles.
Key Skills:
- Experience with the data conversion life cycle, specifically converting data from legacy systems into SAP.

Job Title: Data Analyst - 3M Polaris (SAP Deployment) Program Location: Maplewood, MN-100% Remote
Duration: 9++ Months Contract (Possible Extension)
Job Description:
Work with client to define the requirements and design the transformation to convert data from legacy (non-SAP) systems into SAP. Document requirements and mapping/transformation rules. Work with the technical team to implement the solution and ensure the solution meets business requirements. Work with business, SAP functional teams, and technical team to identify and resolve data defects. Support data loads and validation of data through test and production load cycles.
Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position and provides best practicing sharing within work group.
Service may be taxable in some states. the client holds Direct Pay Permits in the following states: AL, AR, IA, MN, NE, NC, SD, TX, WI and WV. Please do not bill sales tax in these states. the client will be responsible for paying all sales tax due on taxable purchase orders. the client also holds an Enterprise Zone exemption in Cordova, Illinois
Mandatory skills:
- Must have experience with the data conversion life cycle. Converting data from legacy (non-SAP) systems into SAP
- Experience with requirements gathering & documentation
- Able to do basic querying and data validation using SQL and Excel
- Capable of analyzing data issues with the assigned subject area and work with developers, process teams, and business users to identify the root cause and drive resolution.
