Rate: 525/day (Outside IR35)
Location: Remote with occasional travel to London

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Data Analyst to support our data team and enhance operational efficiency. Working alongside Data Modellers, you will play a critical role in enriching user stories, refining data catalogues, and reviewing business process models from a data perspective. Your efforts will directly contribute to the alignment of reporting and migration to the CDM (Common Data Model) and LDM (Logical Data Model).

• Collaboration with Data Modellers:
  Work closely with Data Modellers to reduce context-switching, ensuring smoother workflows and faster delivery.

• User Story Enrichment:
  Enhance user stories to ensure they are comprehensive and actionable from a data perspective.

• Data Catalogue Review:
  Validate and ensure that data catalogues produced by Business Analysts are fit for purpose, aligning with the team's data needs.

• Business Process & Data Perspective:
  Analyze and review business process models and state transition diagrams, focusing on:

  • Lists of Values (LoVs)
  • Managing life cycles of key concepts

• Requirements Management:

  • Triage incoming data requirements (new and change requests) to reduce the workload on Data Modellers.
  • Manage iterative changes to requirements and related documentation through effective clarifications and feedback loops.

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within data architecture or migration projects.
• Strong understanding of data catalogues, user stories, and business process models.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Data Modellers and Business Analysts.
• Familiarity with data life cycle management and logical data models is a plus.
