Summary: The role of Data Analyst in a Government Department focuses on enhancing data collection and analysis processes within a Central Government/Public Sector context. Key Responsibilities:
- Auditing the current use of data and develop future data strategy for the Client environment with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Audit of current data collection, quality, and usage, including compliance with GDPR and government standards
- Mapping of AS-IS data collection and usage journey and applying statistical and analytical tools and techniques
- Applying fundamental principles of data ethics and privacy, and share data ethics and privacy risks through appropriate channels
- Recommendations for improvements to data collection, quality, and usage, including opportunities to increase capture of compliant first party data.
Key Skills:
- Experience in data analysis within Central Government/Public Sector environments
- Strong understanding of DDaT/GDS environments

Our client is looking for an experienced Data Analyst who has worked in Central Government/Public Sector environments to work on a brand new AI-focused project in a DDaT, Agile environment.
Data analysis expertise in this programme is needed to map the current use of data in the Department and consider options for improving first party data collection/analysis to support future marketing
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Auditing the current use of data and develop future data strategy for the Client environment with technical and non-technical stakeholders
