Summary: Chapman Tate is seeking an experienced Data Analyst with expertise in the transportation and logistics sector for a remote, 12-month contract role outside IR35. The position focuses on enhancing supply chain visibility and operational decision-making through data analysis and reporting. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs across transportation, warehousing, and fleet operations
- Clean, model, and analyse logistics data (e.g. routing, deliveries, delays, fuel usage, etc.)
- Support decision-making through actionable insights and data storytelling
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements
- Identify data quality issues and recommend solutions
- Present findings to senior management and non-technical audiences
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst in transportation, logistics, freight
- Strong skills in Power BI, SQL, Excel, and at least one scripting language (e.g. Python or R)
- Experience working with datasets from WMS, TMS, ERP, or fleet management systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex data clearly
- Comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment
