Summary: The Data Analyst (Excel Specialist) role involves supporting the security team by analyzing complex user/device policy data. The position requires advanced Excel skills and the ability to deliver actionable insights quickly. This is a fully remote contract position lasting over three months, with a focus on identifying data inconsistencies and supporting urgent requests. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and experience with security policy data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dive into exported data to identify inconsistencies in access policies
- Use advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, multi-sheet comparisons)
- Collate and interpret data from multiple sources
- Deliver clear, actionable insights-fast
- Support urgent, ad hoc requests from the security team
Key Skills:
- Expert-level Excel skills
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with limited system access
- Comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities
- Great communication skills for reporting findings
- Experience with BYOD/security policy data and Documentation/reporting experience would be good to have.
