Summary: The role of Data Analyst involves working with a Local Authority in West Wales to implement a new Corporate Performance Framework. Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation of the new Corporate Performance Framework currently under development
• Work with services across the council to understand their data needs and provide tailored analytical support with the production of appropriate dashboards and reports
• Produce clear, accurate reports, dashboards and visualisations using Power BI for various stakeholders
• Provide training and guidance to staff and members on data collection, interpretation, and usage of Power BI reports
• Gather, clean and maintain data sets from various council departments and external sources
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with data strategy and regulations
• Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Collaborate with data analysts within Strata and partner councils to share best practices
