Our client, a central government organisation is looking at expanding their use of business rules to optimize elements of case working processes by automatically routing and prioritizing cases according to their characteristics.

The data work involves working with business stakeholders and design teams to identify and troubleshoot business rules to do this. It involves working with an extremely complex dataset that is stored in their person-centric data library.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Ability to conduct analysis from complex databases using SQL (must-have) and/or Python (desirable) using industry best practices in terms of coding structure and standards
  • Ability to conduct data exploration by linking SQL databases to PowerBi (desirable)
  • Ability to identify key trends and communicate the impact of the analysis to non-technical audiences and other DDaT and analytical/colleagues (must have)
  • Ability to apply quality assurance (QA) methodologies to the analysis and compile documentation (must have).
  • Experience of collaborative tools such as Jira, Confluence and Git (desirable)
  • Experience working with a variety of technical disciplines such as business analysts, delivery specialists and data architects (must have)
