Summary: The Data Analyst Contractor at Instacart will be integral in analyzing and interpreting data to enhance off-platform advertising efforts. Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize internal tools for managing audience operations for off-platform advertising.
- Write and optimize SQL queries within the Snowflake data warehouse.
- Analyze data to identify trends affecting off-platform audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance audience enablement.
- Execute Shell/Python scripts for automation of tasks.
- Perform technical QA on automation tools and provide product feedback.
- Evaluate and implement process improvements for operational effectiveness.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
- 2+ years of experience with SQL, data manipulation, and data analysis.
- 2+ years of Python programming experience (NumPy, Pandas, etc.).
- Experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery.
- Strong collaboration skills in team environments.
- Experience in digital advertising or retail media networks (preferred).
- Development experience with Python and audience segmentation methodologies (preferred).
