Typical Day in the Role

Walk me through the day-to-day responsibilities and a description of the project (Outside of the Workday JD).

What are the performance expectations/metrics?

What makes this role unique? Where candidates have fallen short on previous reqs:

1. Data Analysis Experience- more than of the candidates have more experience in implementation and backend work to set up the analytics than they do in completing analysis and working with stakeholders. We are looking for a candidates that have concentrated experience in data analysis and stakeholder communication. For context, 80% of their time should have been focused on creating reports, completing analysis, composing dashboards and presenting findings to stakeholders (presentations).

2. Customer Journey Analytics workspace experience - this is the only reporting application that my team uses today so the candidates must have experience in this tool.

HM is looking for Data Analysts who are proficient in Adobe Customer Journey Analytics reporting (mobile app experience is not a requirement for these).

Major deliverables to support our process: formulate requirements (business questions), tech spec (what data you need), QA guide (data integrity), feature-level dashboard that measures and shows progress toward defined OKRs, validation of data in the dashboard, presentation of analysis/outcomes and next steps/recommendations.

The following activities support these deliverables:

Attend daily standup with rotation of 1 of 6 agile development teams

Attend design reviews for new development work to get an understanding of the purpose and begin to formulate needed measurements to show progress toward success

Attend bi-weekly Data Analytics touch base to discuss ad hoc reporting needs that may come in from health plan/business stakeholders

Facilitate ad hoc design/requirements reviews with Analytics team members to maintain alignment in tracking standards across our team.

At least weekly discussion with Analytics Launch Developer to kick start any coordination that will be needed between the Agile Development Teams and Analytics Launch Developer

Performance: on time delivery of requirements; on time completion of dashboards that demonstrate value of web projects; effective collaboration with business partners (ability to manage scope creep, reduce cycles to final product by working with stakeholders to define outputs and remain aligned throughout life of the project).

Imagine a role where you can seamlessly connect business objectives with tangible site usage metrics, showcasing the immense value delivered by Centene's Digital Experience and Engagement department. Our mission is to craft digital experiences that not only fulfill our members' needs but also exceed their expectations and bring them joy.

In this position, you will have the unique opportunity to pioneer the next generation of behavioral usage tracking, setting the stage for current and future Data Analysts to thrive. You'll collaborate closely with product and business teams, demonstrating the true impact of data-driven decisions and helping shape the future of our digital landscape.
